Not sure what to expect when working with an officiant? I believe the process of creating your ceremony should feel just as intentional and personal as the day itself. Below is a look at what you can expect from start to finish, so you can feel confident knowing what involved and decide if we're the right fit to bring your ceremony vision to life.

The Process

1. Meet & Greet

The first step is simply getting to know each other. We can meet virtually or in person
— whatever feels most comfortable for you both — and chat about your relationship,
your vision, and what matters most to you. This is also your opportunity to decide if
I’m the right person to tell your story.

2. Couples Questionnaire

Once you decide to move forward, I’ll send over a questionnaire I created for you
both to complete. Your answers help me create a ceremony that feels personal,
intentional, and true to your relationship. For elopements, I offer a condensed
version designed for shorter, more intimate ceremonies.

3. Final Meeting

About two weeks before the wedding, we’ll connect one final time to go over any
ceremony details, requests, or last-minute adjustments. If you choose not to have
me attend your rehearsal, this is also when I’ll walk you through helpful tips and
guidance to make your run-through feel smooth, organised, and stress-free.

4. Rehearsal Support

If you’d like, I’m happy to attend your rehearsal complimentary to guide everyone
through the ceremony and help the wedding party feel confident heading into the
big day. Even if you choose not to have me there, I always recommend doing a run-
through so everyone feels relaxed and prepared.

5. Wedding Day

On the day of your wedding, I’ll arrive approximately 1.5-2 hours before the ceremony to ensure everything is in place and running smoothly. I’ll coordinate with your
vendors — or your designated point person — so you can stay present and enjoy the moments leading up to your ceremony.

After the ceremony, I’ll take care of mailing your marriage licence to the Office of the Registrar General so your marriage is legally registered, allowing you to focus
fully on celebrating your new life together.
